“We are a customer of yours located in Menomonee Falls. You make a part for us, a handle, that is extremely important in our manufacturing, as it is the first part assembled to our product. Because we are mating the two parts using a Tox system, material tolerances are extremely important for our materials to be properly joined. Recently we had a material thickness issue, and although we do not experience this often, the way in which it was handled is why I am writing.

After contacting Rob Guentenberg with our problem, Leslie Hayek became involved in an attempt to help us through our current problem, and to find a permanent solution. I could not be more pleased with the work she did. As part of my job, I do all the material purchasing from outside vendors, and I have seen a growing trend in manufacturing of less than stellar customer service. Calls and emails are seldom returned, out of spec parts are swept under the carpet, and a general stance that someone else must be to blame, has become the norm.

Leslie was the exact opposite of what I have run into. She made the calls, answered my emails, and was proactive in finding a solution. She was honest, professional and very understanding of our situation. She was in constant contact and took care of the parts return. She verified the thickness issue, acknowledged the error, and was focused on a solution, rather than an excuse.

It was very refreshing in today’s finger pointing world.”
